Not a day goes by that I don’t think about my favorite round of Caribbean golf. Providenciales is almost always perfect in every way, no matter the time of year, as it is as quiet as it is beautiful, leaving no doubt as to why people love to visit Turks and Caicos each year. But even as Grace Bay Beach has earned worldwide praise for being one of the most beautiful places on Earth, it’ll always be second place to me when it comes to a round at Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club.
A regular contender among various awards contests for the “Best Golf So-and-So in the Caribbean,” this course is thoroughly entertaining for all skill levels and boasts beautiful views across all 18 holes. The only difficult aspect of visiting this destination and playing Royal T&C, then, is deciding where to stay, as this trip can get a little pricey, from the airfare and accommodations to the food and off-property fun — even if it’s all worth every penny.
Fortunately. The Regent Grand is making that part a little easier with the “May I Stay Here Please” offer, which gives guests a 20 percent discount when booking now through the end of May for stays of 1-6 nights until the end of August. So, as the summer heats up across the U.S. and you’d rather be playing golf with a thrilling Caribbean breeze to your back or simply lounging on stunning Grace Bay Beach, this will leave some extra cash for more swag at the pro shop (the course has one of the best logos in golf) or even dinner at my favorite restaurant in the Caribbean, Le Bouchon Du Village (the steak au poivre with an old fashioned will be the cherry on top of any day on the course).

What makes The Regent Grand an ideal choice beyond the bargain is that it’s an all-suite property, so it’ll check all the boxes for families, couples, and your favorite traveling foursomes. But this is an especially great spot for families with children of all ages, as the beach obviously offers so many opportunities to play and especially snorkel, while the infinity edge pool is one of the best selfie locations on the island. Everyone can also stay on-site and enjoy round after round of pickleball before the adults head to the spa for much needed wellness treatments.
Plan your trip just right and the kids can even enjoy a puppy playdate, as The Regent Grand has teamed up with Provo’s animal shelter, Potcake Place, to raise awareness and make sure little snoots get booped as much as necessary. Just don’t be surprised when the kids try to sneak a pooch back in your golf bag. (That’s highly unrecommended, FYI.)
